I am the proud chair of the Professional Rights and Responsinilities Committee. My goal is to educate teachere on the contract, their rights and responsibilities based on the Ed Code.


I enjoy teaching culturally relevant literature to my students. I worked about 20 years in South area. I've been in West ever since.


I wrote this book almost 17 years ago. It is still relevant today, when I use it to teach restorative justice.


I am glad I got the opportunity to lobby in Washington for IDEA. It is important that we get it fully funded.



I am the Health and Education Commissioner fir the city of Huntington Park appointed by the mayor. As the chair, we plan events that help the community.


I am a part of a teaching sorority called the national sorority at Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. We present lessons every year to help educate other teachers in our profession. I was awarded "Soror of the Year 2021".


I have overseen many school productions such as the Lion King and The Wiz. I have organized many school events such as the Black History Museum and events like Career Day.


I have been appointed to the Committee of Credentials working with the CTC, the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. We are tasked with making many important recommendations.
